This unit is small, inexpensive, and easy to install. Our gas company tested it and it works very well. The alarm could be a little louder but other than that I have to say it does the job of units costing three times as much and there is no wiring or difficult installation requirements. Just plug it in and it is working. Doesn’t get much easier than that.

I recently installed gas tankless water heater and gas dryer in my garage and my contractor suggest to install leak detector. This product does not has any false alarm. Keep silent…. I intentionally do leak gas slightly (everything was turn off before we do this, I would not recommend to everyone), then it detects! Keep in mind when we buy such kind of detector product, sometime it’s too sensitive cause false alarm or no detection.
